💛 Big feelings need calm support.

Little ones are still learning how to handle frustration, anger, and disappointment. We can help them practice:

🌿 Pause and soften your voice.
💬 Name the feeling: “You’re frustrated. I’m here to help.”
🌬️ Invite slow belly breaths together.
🧸 Offer comfort: “Would you like a cuddle or your stuffed animal?”

Keep boundaries clear: “It’s okay to feel angry. I won’t let you hit.”

Save problem-solving for when they’re calmer, and practice calming skills during happy moments, too. 💛
