Our Preschool Curriculum

At Tiny Woodland Child Care and Preschool, we are proud to use the Teaching Strategies curriculum to help support the growth and development of every child.

Teaching Strategies is a trusted, research-based curriculum that focuses on the whole child through hands-on learning, exploration, creativity, and meaningful play experiences. This curriculum is widely used in early childhood programs across the country and is recognized for supporting school readiness, social-emotional growth, and individualized learning.

Our program was recommended to us through the Head Start program because of its strong focus on child development, family engagement, and developmentally appropriate learning practices.

Through this curriculum, children are encouraged to:

Build confidence and independence
Develop social and emotional skills
Strengthen language and communication
Explore math, science, and problem-solving
Learn through creativity and play
Develop kindergarten readiness skills

Fall Preschool Program Information

Our Fall Preschool Program will begin on August 25, 2026, and we are excited to welcome both new and returning families for another year of learning, creativity, exploration, and growth!

At Tiny Woodland Child Care and Preschool, we focus on creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children can build confidence, independence, social-emotional skills, and a lifelong love for learning through hands-on experiences and meaningful play.

Preschool Schedule

Morning Preschool Program

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Afternoon Preschool Program

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Families may choose to enroll their child:

Full-time
Or just a few days each week based on their family’s schedule and needs

Tuition

$37 per day

As part of our preschool curriculum, children will also participate in our exciting Young Engineers STEM enrichment program featuring:

Big Builders for younger preschool learners
AlgoBuddy for older preschool learners

Young Engineers lessons will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays for approximately 20 minutes each day, with one complete lesson split across the two days to allow children time to fully explore, create, and engage with the concepts being taught.

Our program combines academics, creativity, STEM learning, social-emotional development, and hands-on exploration to help children become confident, curious, and capable learners.
